Discover Denver Through a Street Art Tour in RiNo
There are a lot of great neighborhoods in Denver with snazzy New York City-esque names like LoDo (lower downtown Denver), LoHi, and Uptown. They all seem the same to us, except for RiNO – River North. Old warehouses are now home to breweries, cool bars, startups, galleries, and markets – and on top of that, the whole neighborhood is covered in street art. You can easily just walk around RiNo and see the street art; however, if you take a tour, you’ll have an entirely new appreciation for it. Not only will you learn about the evolution of street art around the world and in Denver, but you’ll also learn about the evolution of the RiNo neighborhood into an art district.
Whether High Above In Denver At Rooftop Bars or Yoga at Red Rocks, DEN Has It All...
One moment you’re savoring a craft beer at a neighborhood brewery; the next, you’re catching a world-class show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre under the stars. Denver is full of contrasts —where exploring local shops can flow into getting your heart rate up with outdoor fitness activities, Denver serves up something new around every corner.
Big Blue Bear
Walking through the convention center in downtown Denver is an event in itself, but in a large window facing 14th Street visitors will see a giant blue bear peeking into the event center.
Though giant blue animals seem to be a trend in Denver, this blue bear stands on its own. Made of about 4,000 tiny triangles, the 40-foot bear towers over passersby who can also peek into the convention center, giving meaning to the artwork's formal name, "I See What You Mean." The blue color is said to represent the Colorado
sky.
The Cruise Room Bar
This swanky speakeasy is Denver’s oldest bar—and hasn’t changed a bit since 1933
Opened on December 6, 1933—the day after prohibition ended—The Cruise Room Bar was founded as a celebration of good booze, good times, and the endless promise of a late night. Now, more than 90 years later, the Union Station staple looks much as it always has. There have been a few renovations here and there to top off its elegance, but the historic landmark retains all the glamour and glitz of its postprohibition heyday.
Like any good speakeasy, the bar isn’t immediately obvious from the street. Instead, it lies hidden within the Oxford, a regal Victorian-era hotel that’s been around since 1890.

Boulder Flatirons
Only 30 minutes from Denver
The Flatirons are the striking, slanted, reddishbrown sandstone formations that make up a portion of Boulder’s foothills on the west side of town. They are Boulder’s most iconic landmark, and you’ll see their likeness in business logos and artwork throughout town.
Whether frosted with snow, cloaked in fog, or glowing warm and red under sunny skies, the Flatirons offer the quintessential Boulder view. Once you snap a few shots of them from afar, head toward the foothills to explore them up close.
Meow Wolf Convergence Station
A multiversal transit station located right below a highway interchange
Once upon a time, four universes collided, converging at a point in Denver, Colorado. The disaster erased the memories of the inhabitants of these universes. Memories are bought and sold on the open market, and travel is controlled by the bureaucratic Quantum Department of Transportation. This is the lore behind Denver’s unique art installation, Meow Wolf Convergence Station.
